Chime in on today’s Coffee Break with Tracey & Shulie!

Robbins Brothers Coffee Break with Tracey & Shulie--May 23, 2011

March 14–Missing that lost hour? Then you really need today’s Coffee Break with Tracey & Shulie from Robbins Brothers. So…how important is the way he proposes? Or is it not that important at all as long as the ring is nice & carefully selected? Grab your coffee & let’s chit chat!

Coffee Break with Tracey & Shulie

March 7–For today’s Coffee Break with Tracey & Shulie we’re discussing engagement ultimatums! In other words, propose or hit the road. Personally I think they can be effective. Sometimes. However, I believe in giving myself the ultimatum. For example, “if this relationship doesn’t progress by end of year then I’m moving on.” That way the person issuing the ultimatum is truly in control of the situation. But hey, that’s just my two cents. To chime in on the heated discussion head over to the Robbins Brothers Facebook  page right now. (Random winner to comment on the post gets a new pair of pretty pearl earrings.)  TL

January 5–Thanks to her BFF Niecy Nash, “The View” co-host Sherri Shepherd is now engaged to TV writer Lamar Sally whom she met just over a year ago. The two were introduced by Niecy Nash’s fiance Jay Tucker, an electrical engineer. Way to go Niecy and Jay for helping your best friends seal the deal! Sherri will show off her lovely engagement ring on “The View” this Monday 1/10.

Sherri is a Robbins Brothers favorite. Once a customer of our Canoga Park store, she’s the sweetest person and always uplifting. We had the best time with her at our Glendale store’s Pajama Party a few years ago. She comfortably interacted with guests and had everyone laughing hysterically throughout the night. Congrats Sherri & Lamar! We’re wishing you both a lifetime union of happiness.

August 31: The new cast of “Dancing with the Stars” is official and I can’t wait to tune in! Umm Bristol Palin…not so sure if I’m excited to see her. Too much drama. David Hasslehoff should be interesting to watch, but he must stay sober. And Margaret Cho, she’s hilarious! I’ll definitely cheer on Florence Henderson, Brandy, and one of my favorite ex Lakers, Rick Fox! Speaking of Rick, he was the nicest guy when I met him at an Oscar party for actress Taraji P. Henson. Come to find out, we both had Lasik surgery performed at the same place (Dr. Caster in Beverly Hills). I’m rooting for you Rick (and so is my Robbins Brothers family). Let the dancing begin! TL
